CRCC's 2024 Members Symposium was hosted at the Dr. Huey P. Newton Center in Oakland, California, on August 15-16, paying homage to Oakland's pioneering programs and influence on equity in the cannabis industry. The symposium brought together regulators of color from across the nation to share insights, discuss challenges, and celebrate achievements. It featured interactive activities, engaging panel discussions, and invaluable networking opportunities aimed at fostering collaboration and driving equitable progress within our community and respected jurisdictions.
This symposium presented a historic chance for our membership to seize the moment as the federal government moves to reschedule cannabis. We explored the implications of federal rescheduling and developed coordinated responses and policies for our respective jurisdictions.
Attendees also participated in the 20th Annual Emerald Cup on August 17-18, the world's largest and most respected organic, outdoor cannabis competition
